The Piano Institute is an educational component of the annual Piano Celebration Week at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The program is dedicated to teaching piano to children in the community whose parents or guardians lack the financial means to afford private lessons. The program is offering 30 free lessons per student, starting in January 2026. Students are expected to participate in the program for the entire duration of 8 months, from January to August. This ensures that each student benefits fully from his/her lessons. All lessons are held at the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Center for the Arts.​ As a student at the Piano Institute, you will study one-on-one with dedicated, accomplished students and faculty members who perform and present nationally and internationally. We emphasize a learning environment where every student is challenged to reach his/her full potential.
